Spalted Bradford Pear with Black Matte Trim

This Bradford Pear wood was harvested when the tree broke during a late Winter snow in 2021. The spalting is a result of the decomposition process usually from a fungus. Spalted wood is hard to find at the right stage of decay. It cannot be too spongy.
